Alpinia purpurata,

Red Ginger

 I took the picture at Jim Thompson Museum (in the downtown Bangkok).
The deep purplish red could not carried to monitor to reality.  Hope it recall your memory if you have sever seen the flower.
I don't know why it named Alpinia.  If anyone knows more about the flower, please share the information.
After I start taking pictures, I learned that the knowledge helps to get closer to the beauties.
Also, if you really enjoy the wonder of flower, you can make nicer picture.
Its quite strange.  Photos always carry with the mind of photographer.
Nowadays, I take time to enjoy flower before I aim the flower through my camera.
It makes better chance to get nicer image.
