Pentas (Egyptian Star, Star Cluster)

Pentas
Lanceolata, also called Egyptian Star or Star Cluster.
These plants bear 4-inch clusters of 1/2-inch flowers; the hairy oval leaves, 3
to 4 inches long, are often deeply veined. Flowers can be red, pink, lavender or
white. The upright, bushy plants, usually kept 12 to 18 inches tall by pinching
off the tips of stems, bloom year round.
